Pune : MIM Lok Sabha prospect Anis Sundke has declared that a memorial to Tipu Sultan is going to be in-built Pune.
Reacting to this, BJP town device President Dheeraj Ghate claimed, “We will likely not allow the memorial to get constructed on Pune’s land underneath any situations. We are going to lodge a law enforcement criticism In this particular regard.”
He was addressing a press meet up with in the town on Sunday. BJP Election administration Committee Coordinator Shrinath Bhimale, Patit Pavan Sanghatana’s Swapnil Naik, Datta Khade, Maha Yuti Coordinator Sandeep Khardekar, Joint Publicity Chief Pushkar Tuljapukar and others have been existing.
Ghate claimed, “The BJP strongly opposes the proposed memorial to Tipu Sultan. He tortured the Hindus. Sundke is attempting to drive a wedge between two communities by increasing the memorial challenge through the elections. some individuals made an effort to celebrate the beginning anniversary of Tipu Sultan. The BJP vehemently opposed it. We received’t let this to happen at any Price tag.”
Ghate explained, “Pune is called a cultural centre. a lot of historical personalities had been connected to it. Tipu Sultan wasn't a terrific check here chief. He killed 1000s of Hindu Gentlemen and girls. Hindutva outfits will never allow the memorial to return up. We'll strategy the police. it's an attempt to polarise votes.
